Accounting jobs continue to be in demand in every industry. A Romain College post-baccalaureate certificate in accountancy is designed for those who have already earned a bachelor's degree in a non-accounting major. Many employers view the certificate as equal to a bachelor's degree in accounting. Our flexible program provides non-accounting majors with the skills to transition to a career in the field of accounting and the educational requirements to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan.

Our accounting graduates also have high job placement rates. They regularly network on campus and at recruiting events with accounting and business professionals from every industry; from local firms to non-profits to small businesses. Many continue these professional networking ties in the community throughout their careers. Our alumni regularly give back to the College and to 91社区 by mentoring students, speaking in classrooms, and attending student events.

"I decided to pursue the Certificate because 91社区鈥檚 accounting program is AACSB accredited, I enjoyed my accounting classes when obtaining my minor in accounting, and the job market in Evansville has a lot of accounting opportunities. This program provided me the skills to compete in two different case study competitions while at 91社区, and we placed third in the nation in one of those competitions. I was hired at SS&C Technologies upon graduation, where I am now a manager. I also passed the CPA in my first year after graduating. The Certificate is a great option for those interested in accounting. "
