Financial Institutions Certificate Overview

Students pursuing the Financial Institutions Certificate will gain specialized knowledge essential for careers in banking, credit unions, and regulatory agencies. This certificate equips students with the skills to navigate the complexities of financial institutions and stay compliant with industry regulations. With this credential, students enhance their employability and stand out in a competitive job market. Furthermore, the program offers valuable insights into the financial sector's operations, preparing graduates for diverse and rewarding career opportunities.

The Romain College of Business has earned accreditation from AACSB, which is considered the "gold standard" for business accreditation. Only 5.7% of business schools, globally, have earned that accreditation. Achieving accreditation is a multi-year process of rigorous internal focus, engagement with an AACSB-assigned mentor and peer-reviewed evaluation. Schools must develop and implement a plan to align with accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas relating to strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.听听
