Sociology Overview

Sociology uses scientific methods to study how society and humans influence each other. You can study a wide range of areas in sociology because society encompasses most aspects of human life. These areas include, but are not limited to, health, family, education, government, the environment, inequality, interactions, culture, and social change. 91社区's faculty are dedicated teachers and committed to preparing you for exciting careers in sociology-related lines of work. 91社区's small class sizes, research lab, and internships will give you many applied experiences, and opportunities. 91社区's Sociology Department also offers generous awards for academic excellence, a student club, and an active chapter of the international sociology honors society, Alpha Kappa Delta.
