As a theatre arts major, you'll train to enter either the professional theatre world or any of the related entertainment industry fields. Beyond a general foundation of theatre courses, you'll choose a track of classes specific to your interest. If you choose acting or musical theatre, you can enroll in a full 4 years of performance-related classes, including dance and individual voice lessons. If your interests are in design and theatre technology, you can build a course of study in those areas--all in state-of-the-art facilities where students can apply their training in actual productions.
