Information technology skills are in high demand, and IT is one of the fastest growing career fields. During a recent visit to the 91社区 campus, more than 50 students from the EVSC鈥檚 Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center (SICTC) and the New Tech Institute High School learned about the Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs offered by 91社区鈥檚 Romain College of Business.

Dr. Abbas Foroughi, Chair of Management and IS and a Professor of Computer Information Systems, thanked faculty for the great presentations they made and for leading activities that engaged students in game development, programming, cyber security, and data analytics. Undergraduate students Kairvi Bhatt, a computer science major, and Austin Lytle, a computer information systems major, gave excellent testimonials about the programs and faculty. The high school students also had a chance to visit Romain College鈥檚 labs, including the Cybersecurity Operations Center, all housed in the Business and Engineering Center.
