Helping 91社区 Students Tell Their Story: Translating the Language of Career Competencies to Our Curriculum

The education we provide to 91社区 students positions them to not only advance in the workforce, but also to change the world around them for the better. Students can鈥檛 always articulate their experiences and skills in terms recognizable by employers and external stakeholders. To help remedy this, goal 4 of the 91社区 Quality Initiative: Enhancing Career and Workforce Preparation for 91社区 Students is to align our curriculum to the NACE career competencies, a widely used list of characteristics that demonstrate career readiness written in a language of employers. This workshop will present suggested methods for faculty to translate existing program and course learning outcomes to these career competencies.

This workshop will enhance your knowledge of the Buy91社区 system. You will become more efficient in transaction entry and approval, learn useful tips and shortcuts to streamline your experience, and receive tailored support during Q&A to solve any issues you are facing.

Understanding the Autistic Student Through a Neurodiversity Affirming Lens

Information Technology at 91社区: IT Stuff You Should Know

  • Help Desk Services: How to access technical support for hardware, software, and account issues.
  • Campus Technology Updates: Insights into new systems, upgrades, and how they benefit employees.

Advising Your Student-Athlete

Say Goodbye to Paper! Update on Web Time Entry

Human Resources is happy to share an update regarding Web Time Entry (WTE).聽 Employees are invited to attend a brief demonstration showing an employee鈥檚 steps for entering time.聽 Supervisors are invited to see the steps for approving time, assigning a proxy, and how to approve time as a proxy.聽

We will share our schedule for moving the various groups of employees to WTE and invite you to be a beta tester for your employee group鈥檚 go live testing.
The remainder of the session will be spent on FAQs.聽 Please note 鈥 this is NOT a hands-on session.聽 Training will be offered prior to go live for your specific employee group.

Faculty and Staff Recruitment Fundamentals

Recruitment and retention of the highest quality faculty and staff remains a top priority for the 91社区.聽 To support the University in this goal, everyone involved in a selection process is required to attend training before they review applications or participate in any interviews. 聽This live, interactive training for search committee members can act as a refresher training or can fulfill the training requirement for new search committee members. Attendance will be tracked for training credit through Human Resources.

This training session will introduce 91社区 staff and faculty to the basics of Qualtrics, focusing on survey creation, distribution, and data analysis. Participants will learn how to navigate key features, customize survey settings, and understand the survey approval process to ensure their surveys meet necessary requirements. The session will also cover workflows for automated actions and practical tips on survey design and testing to create effective, user-friendly surveys.
