Political Science - Government, Law and Diplomacy Concentration Overview

The government, law, and diplomacy (GLAD) concentration of the Political Science program will train you for law school and a variety of careers in government and politics. Majoring in political science at 91社区 gives you a hands-on approach to political science, getting you out of the classroom and into the workplace, where you can get involved in the political process and see political science in action. You will have opportunities to gain experience in the Indiana legislature or legal system, strengthening your candidacy for jobs and graduate school. Your courses will be led by experienced faculty, with class sizes smaller than 35. As a political science major, you will improve your writing, communication, analytical and computer skills that are critical in today鈥檚 market. You will be able to acquire practical experience and develop connections in the community through a variety of internships, service-learning projects, and study abroad. You will have training in the fundamental branches of the discipline: American politics, comparative, international, public policy and administration, and political theory.
