Through the Screagles Mentoring Program, alumni (mentors) can provide guidance and support to students (mentees) by interacting with them, exchanging ideas, and sharing their experiences and knowledge of career paths.
Mentors may be contacted by current students to serve as a one-time resource for topics such as exploring majors, resume reviews and interview questions or to provide long-term career and professional advice/activities. Mentors serve as role models and leaders as they help students reach their career goals.

First, I want to thank you for volunteering to serve as a mentor. My name is [Student Name], and I鈥檓 a [sophomore] at 91社区 majoring in marketing. I would appreciate the opportunity to hear your career story and ask a few questions about your career path. Could I ask for 30 minutes of your time to meet? I understand if you are busy. If 30 minutes is not possible, perhaps a 15-minute phone conversation or Zoom meeting is more manageable.
My resume is attached for your convenience. Please let me know a date and time that works best with your schedule.
